My last project for my Demo Reel class at Gnomon taught by Miguel Ortega. I wanted at least one of my demo reel projects to explore the female form in terms of its complexity and subtlety. Finding the right balance between the stylization of the concept and realism is quite tricky but I feel like the end result does justice to the original artwork's mood and story. Miguel and Tran Ma, another instructor at Gnomon, have contributed greatly in my growth as an artist by pushing that extra bit to get better and huge props to them for helping me with this piece.
